Production on Maylay Sparks new album "Shotgun Wedding"

I produced the track "Positive Over Negative" on Maylay Sparks new album "Shoutgun Wedding" Out Now... Some info fo about the project below (Swedish).

"Maylay Sparks - Shotgun Wedding, gästas av Malmö-rapparna Chukk Rukkuz och Rocc Spotz samt innehåller produktion av Skåne-producenter som K Sluggah, DJ Devastate och DJ Connect.

Philadelphia-rapparen Maylay Sparks levererade en legendarisk vers på singeln ”Claimin Respect” med Last Emp och Rakaa Iriescience som spelades in i Danmark under sent 1990-tal. Den Context-producerade vinylsingeln blev en undergroundklassiker av stora mått och kanske var det därför Maylay Sparks stannade i den danska huvudstaden Köpenhamn och numera gjort det till sitt hem både privat och karriärmässigt. Under 2000-talet har Maylay gjort ett flertal EP- och albumsläpp genom olika kanaler och även samarbetat med ett flertal svenska och danska artister.

I dagarna är Maylay Sparks albumaktuell med nya skivan ”Shotgun Wedding” där han fått assistans av svenska producenter som Skåne-baserade K Sluggah, DJ Devastate och DJ Connect. Även finländaren Sakke Alto och kroatiske Koolade står bakom ett antal spår på skivan. På rapfronten gästar bland annat Muddy Fatique-crewet från Malmö med Chukk Rukkuz och Rocc Spotz i spetsen. J-Ro, Dave Ghetto och Styliztik Jones bidrar även med verser till albumet."

My old friend Maylay Sparks just released his "Best Of Maylay Sparks" album. I first met Maylay back in 2004 in Copenhagen. We have worked on a bunch of tracks since then.

Maylay featured on my first vinyl single (with DJ Create) with a track called "Just Get down". That single also featured Masta Ace (The Hitman). The track called "Just Get Down" was recorded by Don Mario in Christiania. I also produced 5 tracks on Maylays 2008 album "Flaskworthy".

Maylay is a true underground legend, be sure to dowload this album. Big up to homies Sniper & Mad Cune (SNM Squad) and to Reef the Lost Cause & Last Emperor.

I had the opportunity to work with a old friend on his new release. Maylay Sparks is the West Philly legend that moved to Scandinavia after literally slipping of stage at Roskilde over 10 years ago. Since then he has been delivering a lot of quality releases with Sweden and Denmark as his new base of operation. This new project he just released is a EP called "Truckdriver Fortuneteller".
