"Göteborg" on DJ Large new mixtape "2Tusen&12"

In 2012 i produced the track "Göteborg" for my old friend, rapper Rico Won. The track was featured on his album "Underverk".

Later that year the track also came out as a remix with a whole bunch of Gothenburg rappers. I don't produce tracks for Swedish rap often so this was cool..

DJ Large latest mixtape "2Tusen&12" is a selection very best of Swedish Hip Hop from 2012. The tape features the Rico track "Göteborg". Check out the mixtape, it's a free download!

On Blak’s new venture “Blaker Than Midnight” he collaborates with producers DJ Devastate (BBE Records), Max I Million and New York legend LG The Experience (producer of Nas, Big L and Naughty by Nature). 

The main track ”Blaker Than Midnight” consist of clever wordplay, funky samples, hard hitting drums and razor sharp turntable acrobatics. Baby Blak continues on track ”Moves 2 Make” to deliver lyrical gems with an understated yet intriguing flow. Blak keeps this project feature free except for the bonus remix of track ”Moves 2 Make”, where some of Sweden’s best MC’s can be heard ( Rico Won, Professor P, Rocc Spotz, Mr. Noun). 

The format of this release is that of a classic 12 inch single, including remixes and instrumentals. The EP “Blaker Than Midnight” is available digitally worldwide.

Production on Rico Won's new album " Underverk" (Free Download)

I first hooked up with Gothenburg rapper Rico Won back in 2005 when doing cuts for his album "Takin Ova". Later we also recorded a track called "Hardhittin" along with Maylay Sparks.

Some time ago Rico told me he needed a beat for his upcoming Swedish album. I had a real laid back jazzy beat, Rico liked it so we made it happen. The track is called "Göteborg" and Features Lani Mo. The tracks is a tribute to Rico's hometown on the Swedish Westcoast. Download the free track or full album below..

To promote upcoming projects i produced a free track called "Hardhittin" with featured rappers Maylay Sparks & Rico Won. The track was featured on German compilation "Netzwerke 2".It's also avalible at American "Indie Feed Podcasts". The track is on a laid back funk vibe and it's basicly about the hard hittin feeling you get from authentic musical grooves. Feel free to download it and drop a comment if you like it.
